‘120 YEARS OF CLARET & AMBER’: THE ALL

Bradford City AFC is delighted to reveal the club’s all-new 2023/24 Macron alternative kit, available now!

The strip is on sale via City’s official retail website, and will be available from the Bradford City Store from 9.00am tomorrow (Thursday).

Again celebrating ‘120 Years of Claret & Amber’, the kit follows a black colourway, with vertical claret shoots and an amber trim. A folding, v-neck collar has the letters ‘BCAFC’ stitched into its rear, with ‘CITY’ embossed into the lower back of the shirt.

Main club partners JCT600 and University of Bradford take pride of place, respectively sublimated into the fabric on the front and back, while Regal Foods appear again on the rear of the shorts. New shirt sleeve sponsor, Flamingo Land, will be printed onto the side of the shirt from the first time it is played in.

Identically coloured shorts and socks are finished with a claret and amber trim, both adorned with Macron and Bradford City branding which again ensure claret and amber will remain on the field at all times.

The jersey has been crafted from Macron’s lightweight and tear-resistant Eco-Softlock fabric, a 100% recycled polyester yarn certified by the Global Recycled Standard.

In particular, the back is in Eco Micromesh: a breathable technical fabric, specially designed for game sets with 100% recycled polyester yarn. It is comfortable thanks to its softness and elasticity.

The lateral inserts in Eco Mesh give this fabric maximum breathability and lightness, thanks to the micro-perforated construction.

The ‘120 Years of Claret & Amber’ campaign concludes with another powerful video shot at the Opus Photographix studio in Little Germany. Bradford City Women's Nell Hepton is joined by men’s first-teamers Jamie Walker and Daniel Oyegoke against a striped claret and amber backdrop.

The campaign highlights the uniqueness of Bradford City and the 120-year anniversary of our colours, reinforced by Bantams flags courtesy of North West Kollektive, symbolising tribal, passionate, unrivalled support.

A rubberised club crest - complete with a star marking the 1911 FA Cup triumph - is pressed onto a panel which is embroidered into the shirt, appearing on the front alongside the Macron logo.

The rear of the jersey is complemented by a traditional black ribbon, paying tribute to the lives tragically lost in the Valley Parade Fire Disaster on 11th May 1985.
